Privacy
Seatback Cinema is a hobby project run by one person. There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising. This page says what the service sees when you use the Claude plugin, the connector or the API.
What is sent to seatback.len5ky.com
- Your flight question: the airline, flight length and filters (genre, family, year), so the server can rank the catalogue.
- Your taste, only if you give it: a public IMDb profile link, a Letterboxd username, a pasted or uploaded IMDb/Letterboxd export, or a taste code from an earlier visit.
Nothing identifies you beyond what you choose to send. The server does not see your Claude account or your conversation.
What is kept, and for how long
- IMDb and Letterboxd imports (the film ids you rated or listed, your scores) are cached for 24 hours so repeat questions in a day cost nothing, then deleted.
- Taste codes store the same film ids and scores under a random 20-character code for one year, so you can reuse them. There is no link between a code and a person.
- Request logs are Cloudflare's standard, short-lived operational logs. The service keeps no log of its own.
Third parties
The service runs on Cloudflare Workers and Convex. When you give an IMDb link, the import fetches your public ratings from imdb.com; a Letterboxd username fetches your public diary feed from letterboxd.com. Film ratings and synopses come from IMDb's non-commercial datasets and public pages and are never redistributed beyond the picks you see.
Deleting your data
Imports expire on their own within a day. To remove a taste code early, or for any question, open an issue at github.com/len5ky/seatback-cinema or email len5ky@len5ky.com.
